

The HBCU Professor Retreat returns for Year 3! Presented by ICON360 and Pensole Lewis College, this transformative two-day gathering is dedicated to advancing HBCU fashion education. Taking place June 17 - 18 in New York, NY, the retreat brings together industry leaders and HBCU faculty for solution-driven discussions designed to equip students with greater opportunities in the fashion industry. By tackling systemic challenges head-on, we aim to develop equitable solutions that empower the next generation of fashion talent from HBCUs.
Day 1 | Tuesday, June 17th
Kick off the retreat with a dynamic day of insightful panels and meaningful networking at Live Nation in New York City. Industry leaders and HBCU faculty will engage in solution-driven discussions on fashion education, career pathways, and industry collaboration to better position HBCU students for success.

Day 2 of the retreat offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at leading fashion and retail companies through a curated series of industry stop visits. HBCU professors and faculty will have the opportunity to engage directly with executives, designers, and key decision-makers at top brands, gaining valuable insights into industry trends, hiring needs, and opportunities for students.
